Batch Trip - March, 2019

Each year, the graduating class (undergraduates) of IIT Gandhinagar go on a batch trip in mid-semester vacations of their final semester. IIT Gandhinagar funds 30-35% of the total cost of the trip. This year around 60 students (out of 150) went for the batch trip to McLeod Ganj, and Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh. The institute does a great job here strengthening the already existing batch unity. I am lucky to be a part of this institute, and more so to have found such wonderful friends here.

The trip was amazing. Most of us witnessed snow for first time in our lives and needless to say the excitement was visible in our actions. In McLeod Ganj we camped for a night at Triund. Since it was snowing heavily we took alternate way, and it sure made many of us come out of our comfort zones. But this is what adventure is - coming out of comfort zone.
